I'm looking for a photographer in NYC interested in collaborating on a new independent editorial magazine focused on New York City, dating, nightlife, sex, culture, fashion, and the people who make the city interesting. The publication is called ***** ********** — think Playboy meets Vogue meets GC, with a distinctly New York point of view. I'm currently building the first issue and looking for photographers whose work feels editorial, candid, cinematic, raw, intimate, experimental, or fashion-forward. I'm open to both digital and film photographers. This is intended as a creative collaboration, not a traditional client shoot. I want to make actual art and build something visually distinctive together. What I can provide: • Creative direction + editorial concepts • Models / casting • Styling assistance • Locations • Publication in the magazine • Photographer credit • Promotion of the work through the publication's platforms • Opportunity for an ongoing creative relationship if we work well together You do not need to have a huge portfolio or expensive equipment. I'm much more interested in your eye, perspective, and ability to tell a story through photography. If you're interested, please respond with: • Your name • Instagram / portfolio • A little about your photography • What kind of editorial work you'd be interested in creating Please include a few examples of your work. I'm especially interested in photographers who want to experiment, collaborate, and make something that feels like more than another Instagram shoot. NYC-based photographers only.
