Does your apartment make people ask, "Wait... you actually live there?" Maybe your bedroom is a walk-in closet. Maybe your kitchen is a hot plate on a stack of milk crates, or you're living that SRO life with a communal bathroom three doors down. If you've got a creative, cramped, or unconventional housing situation in NYC for around $1,000/month or less (per person), we want to tell your story. We are casting real NYC renters for "Thousand Dollar Listing," a documentary-style YouTube series exploring the reality of "affordable" housing in the greatest (and most expensive) city on earth. URGENT: FILMING THIS FRIDAY (2/20) We are looking for applicants with flexible availability to film this Friday, February 20th! If you're free at any point during the day, please let us know in your reply. Who We're Looking For: * The Space: Truly unique setups (SROs, converted basements/attics, shared rooms, missing "essential" amenities, etc.). * The Price: Rent around $1,000/month or less per person. * The Story: People who are down to share the honest, funny, or wild reality of how they ended up in their space. The Details: * Time: Only ~1 hour of your time. * Format: A quick walkthrough of your space and a casual chat about your experience. * Privacy: Anonymity is totally fine—we can keep your last name/identity private if preferred. * Compensation: $150 for the hour. How to Apply: Please reply with the following (the more detail, the better!): * Photos of your living space (show us the "character"!). * Your current monthly rent. * A quick note on what makes your place unique. * Your best contact info (Email/Phone). * Confirm if you are available this Friday (2/20).
