We are looking for a makeup artist for a small independent feature film shooting in the Los Angeles area. Although this is a very low-budget production, the film features a well-known television actor, making it a great opportunity for someone looking to build their résumé and gain experience working on a feature film. Because this is an ultra-low-budget production, the role will also involve helping with script supervision and continuity, as well as assisting with props and wardrobe continuity during the shoot. You will not be responsible for sourcing or transporting wardrobe or props, but during filming you will help ensure the correct wardrobe is worn for the correct scenes and that the proper props are used and handled appropriately so continuity is maintained. Please only submit if you have experience on narrative projects (feature films, short films, or student films). If your background is primarily glam, bridal, or beauty makeup (even on major jobs), please do not apply. Rate: $100/day for 5 to 6 days of work. Please send: Brief introduction Relevant experience Photos of previous work if available.
