People managing depression often go weeks between provider visits, which makes it hard to see early whether a treatment is helping. A research team out of Stanford is looking at how wellbeing shifts over time for people working through depression, with the aim of tracking treatment response more closely than routine care allows. Participation is fully remote, so it's open to residents across the greater LA area. If you join, someone from our team checks in with you twice a week in short, informal video sessions — not therapy or clinical care, just a way to learn from your experience over 12 weeks. What will you do? Participation is fully remote – no clinic visits, no changes to your current treatment. Twice a week, you'll have a brief 20-minute video check-in with a trained care manager from our team, just to talk about how you're doing. At four points during the study, a separate clinician will do a short structured assessment. The study runs for 12 weeks total. Compensation: Participants can earn up to $350 over the course of the study, paid out in milestones: $100 by week 4, $175 by week 8, and $350 by week 12 (includes an engagement bonus for consistent participation). You may be eligible if you: - Are between 18–65 years old - Have been diagnosed with depression or are taking or soon starting antidepressant medication - Have access to a device with a camera and microphone - Are based in the United States Interested in participating?
