Independent short film production seeking an experienced female sound mixer for an intense horror short filming in Los Angeles from October 1–4. The film includes scenes of physical intimacy. For the comfort and privacy of the performer during this sensitive material, the actress and intimacy coordinator have specifically requested a female sound professional. Ideally, we're looking for one person who can both mix and boom and who owns or has access to a professional location-sound package. Requirements: - Available for all four shoot dates: October 1–4 - Professional experience mixing narrative film - Comfortable working around intimate and intense horror scenes - Able to work as a solo mixer/boom operator - References from directors or producers - Examples of previous narrative work This is a paid position.
