California SMASH is El Segundo's premier indoor pickleball and social club — 9 professional courts, a chef-driven restaurant, craft bar, and one of the most visually dynamic venues in the South Bay. We host corporate events, leagues, birthday parties, and more. We're looking for a reliable part-time Social Media Coordinator to help us grow our online presence and keep our community engaged. COMPENSATION: $750–$1,000/month (depending on experience) | ~8–12 hrs/week WHAT YOU'LL DO: - Create and schedule 3–4 posts per week on Instagram and Facebook - Write and send bi-weekly email newsletters to our member and guest list - Maintain a simple content calendar aligned with events and promotions - Light engagement monitoring (comments/DMs) - Occasional on-site content capture preferred but not required — we can supply photos and video WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: - Comfortable with Instagram, Facebook, and email marketing platforms (Mailchimp or similar) - Strong written communication — you know how to write a caption that sounds like a human - Organized and reliable — you can meet deadlines without being micromanaged - Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools is a plus - Experience with sports, hospitality, food/bev, or lifestyle brands is a plus (not required) - This is a content execution role — we'll provide direction, you make it happen DETAILS: - Part-time, ~8–12 hours/week - Fully remote/flexible schedule (occasional visits to El Segundo preferred) - Monthly retainer: $750–$1,000 depending on experience - Start: as soon as possible TO APPLY: Reply to this posting with a brief intro, resume and links to any social accounts or email campaigns you've created.
