Now We Sip Champagne Podcast is looking for a new video editor to join our weekly production team! We interview people from the worlds of hospitality, nightlife, entertainment, and business, and we're looking for someone who can help us keep our content looking sharp and consistent week to week. THE EDIT Each week you'll receive: • One ~45-60 minute podcast • 3 camera angles — 2 close-ups + 1 wide • A 2–5 minute intro with 2 camera angles • 4 reels per episode PAY: $275 PER EPISODE • $100 — Full podcast edit • $50 — Reel 1 with captions & effects & thumbnail photo • $50 — Reel 2 with captions & effects & thumbnail photo • $50 — Reel 3 with captions & effects & thumbnail photo • $25 — Post video with no captions/effects & thumbnail photo We're looking for someone who can consistently handle 1 full episode + 4 reels per week & posting PRODUCTION We shoot once a week in NYC, and we're also looking for someone who can assist with production and filming. Production work is paid separately at $25/hour. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR • Must know CapCut • Must be comfortable with multi-camera editing • Must know how to add and format captions • Must be comfortable using LUTs and matching our existing color/look • Good sense of pacing and knowing what makes a clip work on social • Reliable and able to hit weekly deadlines • Comfortable working with large video files and hard drive The editor will also need to pick up and return the hard drive with the week's footage from our SoHo location. This is an ongoing weekly position for someone who wants to become part of the team and help shape the look and feel of the podcast as it grows.
