Hi folks, I've decided to sell my NiSi Athena 5-lens kit of cinema lenses and use the funds to go to markets instead. For those who don't know, the Athena prime lenses took the cine world by storm in 2023 when they were released; many cinematographers called them "baby Arri Master Primes" because the image is comparable (and they are—I compared). And not only do these have that high-end, clean look, the Athenas also share one unique characteristic of the Master and Signature Primes: no focus breathing. This video explains what focus breathing is: Roger Deakins on How to Choose a Camera Lens — Cinematography Techniques (on Focus Breathing) https://youtu.be/2h4MQ8zA_Vg?si=ggA2HQMq54hX4IdP&t=496 Your projects will have that noticeably high-quality cinematic look without focus breathing—and previously, the only way to get it was with the Master Primes at $20,000 CAD per lens. I'm pricing this set to move. It comes with the case and the 14mm, 25mm, 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm lenses (all are T1.9, except the 14mm, which is T2.4. If you were to buy it today, it would cost $8,117 × 1.12 (tax) = $9,091.04 CAD. If anyone wants them, I will price them like this: • From today until August 8th, the set will be $6,500 CAD. • From August 9th to 15th, the set will be $7,600 CAD. • After August 15th, the set will be $$8,200 CAD. I only have this one set. I'm not a store; I just don't use them very much. Prices are firm. Here is one of the MANY reviews you will find on this kit on Youtube: ENDGAME Budget Cinema Lenses - NiSi Athena Lens Review https://youtu.be/9n7mZdyG1HI?si=bDSHzQ7MuldePigG Lenses are in Vancouver. Payment in cash. If you want to test them on your camera first, feel free. PS: I may have the Nisi Athena 135mm T2.2 for sale as well. Feel free to message me if you're interested.
