I'm a product of MFA programs in writing and filmmaking at Columbia and NYU. I'm about to reach out to folks with money who may like one of my short scripts, short stories or narrative poems enough to finance me turning it into my sixth short film. My sixth short film will hopefully serve as a final warm-up for my first feature film. (I have complete drafts of a dozen feature screenplays.) Should my outreach yield someone interested in financing my sixth short film, I'll need an experienced, personable and patient producer to oversee preproduction and production, including securing locations, casting logistics, crew hiring, scheduling, and contracts/paperwork. I'll also need the producer to oversee postproduction, distribution and marketing. Access to A-list actors and crew a big plus.
