Independent short film A TEST OF FAITH is seeking a talented Production Designer to help establish the visual world of the film. The story moves between the intimate home of a deeply religious young man and colder, more threatening environments associated with another character. Production design will be important in communicating character, faith, family, environment, and psychological contrast without relying on exposition. Responsibilities include collaborating with the Director and DP on the visual concept, location dressing, set decoration, props, color/texture choices, continuity, sourcing materials, and overseeing the art department during production. Experience with narrative film and visually detailed character environments strongly preferred. We're especially interested in designers who can achieve a strong cinematic look without requiring a feature-film-sized art budget.
