Independent filmmaker seeking an expert-level screenwriter to rewrite a completed first draft of my feature film, THREE STRIKES. The film is inspired by the true story of Matthew Hahn, and I have secured the film rights to his story. LOGLINE: While burglarizing a home to feed his meth relapse, a two-strike felon discovers evidence that could put a child molester away for decades—but turning it over to police could expose his own crime and trigger a third strike that sends him to prison for life. Story in six words: Burglar accidentally robs a child predator. I'm looking for a writer operating at a WGA/professional level with significant experience in feature screenwriting, structure, character development, dialogue, and rewriting. WGA membership is preferred but not required if you have strong professional credits. This is more than a polish. I'm open to restructuring, rewriting scenes, strengthening character arcs, cutting material, and making substantial changes necessary to elevate the screenplay.
