Such a great lens. This 28mm is THAT LENS. This is what many people consider the absolute best and most desirable 28mm manual lens that nikon ever made. Compact, built like a tank, incredible optics, and with the close focusing correction and ability to focus to 0.2 meters. Cosmetically it is in great shape. Please see pictures for full condition, but it's in excellent condition with some very minor signs of use. Maybe some minor small marks on the focus marker barrel that aren't super apparent except up close under good light, but other than that this copy is very clean. Again, please see pictures for full cosmetic condition. Glass is in great shape – no notable scratches or marks – no fog, haze, or balsam separation, no fungus. Inside is quite clean but there is some dust consistent with the age - nothing that would affect image quality. Aperture blades are smooth, clean, free of oil, and work properly and smoothly. Focus action is smooth. These older nikkors vary greatly from smooth/loose to pretty tight and heavily dampened. This one is nicely in the middle, about where i would want it to be for ease of use. Mount looks great as well. Filter threads are near flawless and takes a filter as it should. Lens caps included may be different from what's pictured. Really a fantastic lens. Again this is kind of THAT 28mm that everyone loves, and are pretty hard to find without having it shipped from japan for very high shipping/import fees. Feel free to ask any questions. $15 shipped and insured within CONUS, or local pickup in Atlanta area. Thank you!
