Retail / Fulfillment Assistant for Values-Driven VINTAGE shop in MIDCITY, LA MuMu Mansion Location: 5669 W. Pico Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90019 Hours: 10–15 hours weekly (Wednesday, Friday–Sunday availability required) Pay: $20/hr starting rate; $22/hr after 3 months of consistent performance. Potential for $25/hr based on growth and operational mastery. Who We Are: MuMu Mansion is a high-soul, size-inclusive, value-driven vintage and modern resale destination in Mid-City LA. While our front-of-house is all about jewelry, glamour, and styling, our back-of-house needs to be a well-oiled machine. We are looking for an Operational Anchor. This is not a styling or "creative" role—this is the role that powers the creativity by ensuring every order is shipped, every item is tagged, and the shop is open exactly on time. Who You Are: -The "Linear Anchor" (Focus-Driven): Because the Owner is the "Creative Vision" of the shop, this role requires a steady, focused anchor. We need someone whose default setting is execution, not "pivoting." If you are someone who gets easily distracted or prefers socializing over checking off a list, this will not be the right fit. We need a worker who thrives on staying on task. -The "Logistics-First" Mindset: You find genuine peace in a cleared-out inbox and a perfectly labeled shelf. You are a self-starter who doesn't need to be managed to get the "must-dos" done. -The "Early" Type: Punctuality is a core value for you. You view an "Open" time as a sacred contract. If the shop opens at 10:00, you are there at 9:50. -Boutique-Ready Presence: While this isn't a styling role, you have a confident aesthetic that fits the MuMu Mansion vibe. You are comfortable shifting from a messy storage bin to the sales floor, providing smart, soulful customer service and closing sales with ease. -A Shopify/Tech Native: You don't just "know" Shopify; you enjoy the data entry and inventory management side of it. -Reliable & Reachable: You are a professional who takes ownership. If a task is assigned, it gets done without a second "nudge." What You'll Be Doing: -Fulfillment First (80%): You will own the shipping station. Pulling orders, wrapping them with care, printing labels, and ensuring 48-hour turnaround. -Inventory Management: Mining backstock, entering SKUs into Shopify, and tagging items -Digital Support: Assisting with the backend of Live Sales and responding to basic customer shipping inquiries via email/app. -Shop Stewardship: Opening/Closing the shop on specific days. Keeping the "Logistics Hub" (back room) spotless. The Requirements: -Experience: 1–2 years in e-commerce fulfillment or retail operations. -Software: High proficiency in Shopify and G-Suite. Familiarity with Paloma (or similar live-sale apps) a plus. -Physicality: Ability to move bins, haul boxes, and be on your feet. -Availability: Wednesdays and Weekend Availability Required (Non-negotiable). Every other Wednesday we host live sales on Instagram and require on-site assistance. -Communication: Must be open to receiving and giving constructive feedback.
