We're currently preparing for my short film and looking to collaborate with students interested in: • Makeup • Hair • Costume • Art Department (props + light set dressing / support) Project Details Shoot Dates: April 18, 19, 20 (full shoot) April 5 (half-day – soap opera scene) Locations: Silver Lake and Pasadena areas This is a student-led independent project with a small, dedicated team. We're offering screen credit, hands-on set experience, and good meals. The set will be collaborative, supportive, and a great environment to learn and create together. About the Film The Well is a character-driven story told through the perspective of a young girl who believes she can fix her parents' relationship by giving away something she loves most. The film explores childhood perception, emotional sensitivity, and the quiet ways children try to make sense of the adult world around them. Director's Note AFI Alumni interested in creating a natural, authentic environment on set, where performances feel honest and grounded. The tone is intimate and observational, with attention to small details, textures, and emotional truth.
