Alt/indie band seeking part-time music marketing & social media assistant for release of new album this spring and summer. Projects include: - Shooting/creating social media content to accompany the album release - Shooting footage for a short documentary about the band (interview footage, candid band footage, etc) - Maintaining an alt account or fan account for the band Knowledge of: -Video/photo - interviewing for stories/documentaries - viral content/memes - music marketing/social media marketing This is project-based, in-person in Bushwick & pays $20/hour cash. Flexible hours but around one day a week (could also be a few evenings), as well as availability for show dates (Friday March 20, Friday May 1). We will also need to do a video walk through + band interview at a guitar amp company in Long Island, but no date has been set for that yet. This is a super relaxed and fun gig, ideal candidate would be a knowledgeable music fan who is into the Brooklyn music scene, a hard worker who can help the band with visuals, social media content, and marketing to tell its story to its audience while gaining new fans. Video editing experience is not necessary as the band does it themselves, but helpful.
