This is NOT A REMOTE GIG I need someone who owns a camera and microphone for the evening of August 4th 2026 . National Night Out is an event that pretty much every city hosts some type of community fair that promotes safety featuring informational booths some of the typical guests include fire fighters , law enforcement and food vendors. think of it as a vlog where a host walks around and get sort of mini interviews of some booths. It's important that you have a microphone because events like this usually have music and I don't want the music to be the loudest thing in the video or else the quality of the audio will be poor if we can't hear the interviews in post editing. This event starts at 5pm it would be neat if we find an important figure to get a quote before the event gets busy . the goal is to try to create a Instagram gallery post . I have a limited window to find my videographer remember to respond with your instagram username as I will be only reaching out to applicants who have example work to accomplish my goal of the video I am hoping to create . If you are familiar with journalism think of this as a multimedia project you are tasked with helping me create. you must own a tripod because essentially it is you I will have as the host because I will be one of the participants you interview to make my booth look cool and as you get b roll footage and quotes from booths i will let you know if theres other people id like you to include in the video. please do not forget to send me your instagram account and contact info so i can see your example work as i will not be reaching out to candidates who did not provide me with content to sample. this is not to be confused as if you are doing this for the city of Lynwood so do not call city hall inquiring about this gig as this is an independent video project. obviously some vloggers use other forms of recording such as a Go Pro etc I just care that you have microphone equipment to make the audio of the video stand out because i know there will be music in the background that will interfere in getting good quality sound.
