We're a small golf company that makes motorized golf caddies, looking for a lean, creative crew for a 2-day shoot in Thousand Oaks. Ideally, the same person or small team will handle both production and post-production, with potential for ongoing editing work afterward. About the project. Shooting Jan 14th-16th. (may be two full days, or two half days and one full day). • Day 1: Film a customer golf tournament (on-course, candid moments, reactions, product-in-use). • Day 2: Dedicated product/content day on the course with selected golfers, focused on hero shots, lifestyle, and product detail. This is not a huge crew or big-budget production. We'll be working fast and light, using available light and being creative with coverage: tracking shots, handheld, slow motion, some basic gimbal/steadicam work, and (ideally) some drone footage where possible. Ability to grab a few strong stills along the way is a plus but not required. Post-production Editing is just as important as shooting. Initial deliverables: • Several short :15–:60 cuts for social and online use (Facebook, YouTube, website). Ongoing: We plan to repurpose this footage for months (multiple versions, new edits for specific products, promos, etc.), so there is a real opportunity for ongoing editing and additional photo/video work if it's a good fit. We will provide direction, outlines, and what our customers respond to, but we're looking for someone with the creative vision and technical skills to: • Cut energetic, engaging short-form spots • Build in titles, lower thirds, and on-screen feature callouts • Add motion graphics where needed • Handle basic color correction and sound cleanup What to include in your reply 1. Links to work Please send links to your website, reel, and/or portfolio. We especially want to see short, energetic pieces (sports, product, lifestyle, or similar). 2. Skills and services Briefly list where you excel and what you can provide on this project, for example: • Cinematography • Directing/producing on set • Editing • Motion graphics • Color correction / basic sound mix 3. Your gear and software List your primary tools (no need for a full inventory), such as: • Camera(s) you'd use (and any drone/gimbal if available) • Basic sound kit you can bring (lavs/shotgun, recorder, etc.) • Editing and graphics software (Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci, After Effects, etc.) 4. Rates and availability • Your day rate(s) for shooting (per person if you're a small team) • Your editing/post rates (flat per project, hourly, or day rate) • Any constraints or preferences around schedule 5. Questions for us Please include any questions you have about the project, schedule, deliverables, or scope so we can make sure expectations are clear on both sides. Thank you!
