Looking for Social Media Assistant /Manager – WeHo/Hollywood Hills/Beverly Hills Area Overview: I'm looking for a talented, social media assistant/manager who understands what makes content pop, stays on top of trends, and has an intuitive feel for the platforms. I have had success on Instagram and YouTube previously, and I am launching a new business which is what this content will focus on. I need help filming the content (simple iPhone filming) and bringing my content ideas to life. I have plenty of concepts and direction ready, but I need someone who can translate them into simple, engaging short videos that perform well on Instagram, TikTok, Youtube Shorts, etc. This is straightforward work—no high-end production needed or wanted. What You'll Do: • Film easy, phone-based videos (holding the phone, checking lighting/angles, basic point-and-shoot style). I have the iPhone 17 we can use for this + mics. • Assist with light editing if needed (using apps like CapCut, InShot, or similar—nothing pro-level), including choosing flattering filters, color tweaks, and basic visual polish to make content look really good and on-trend. • Offer quick input on trends, hooks, or tweaks to make the content more shareable and current. • Help ensure videos align with what's working right now on social media. What I'm Looking For: • Someone who's genuinely good at social media—who understands what makes content pop, stays on top of trends, and has that intuitive feel for platforms. • Someone who has a good eye for aesthetics—knows how to use filters, lighting, and simple edits to elevate iPhone content without overproducing it. • NO formal experience or professional videography background required (in fact, it's better if you're not coming from a fancy production world—this is meant to be natural and low-key). • Responsible, reliable, communicative, and fun to work with. • Energetic and creative in a practical way—able to take my ideas and run with them quickly. • Flexible availability for part-time work, ideally local to WeHo/Studio City/Beverly Hills for in-person filming sessions (remote possible for editing bits). Compensation: $30–$35 per hour+. I'll happily pay $45-50/hr after a trial period if we are effective with our time and are getting results. Paid weekly via Venmo/Zelle. I'd love for this to turn into a permanent Social Media Manager role if the content performs strongly.
