I'm launching a new media outlet focused primarily on women's basketball, with some NBA coverage during the WNBA offseason, and I'm looking for someone to help me get things up and running. This is a part-time, entry-level / early-career opportunity for someone who understands social media, video, streaming, and how content should look and feel online. I'm not looking for an agency or high-priced consultant. I'm looking for someone who is hands-on, knows their way around social platforms, has good instincts, and is interested in helping build a new media brand from the beginning. WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR: -TikTok familiarity -Instagram Reels -Short-form and regular video posts -Livestreaming / streaming platforms -Basic audio and visual presentation -Social media posting and content workflows -A good eye for how content looks and feels -General comfort with technology and learning new platforms -Dependability and a positive attitude You don't need to be an expert in everything above. If you already spend a lot of time using these platforms and understand how modern social content works, I'm interested in hearing from you. LOCATION: -Please live in or around West Hollywood / the Los Angeles area -Please be available to work locally HOURS & PAY: -Approximately 2-4 hours per day to start -Starting pay: $22/hour -Potential for additional hours and responsibilities as the venture grows -Looking to get started ASAP Following basketball is a definite plus, particularly women's basketball, but it isn't necessarily required if your social media, video, streaming, or creative skills are a good fit. More important to me is finding someone who is reliable, easy to work with, interested in learning, and excited about helping build something new. WHEN REPLYING, PLEASE INCLUDE: -A brief introduction and background -Your social media profiles -Any examples of social media, video, streaming, editing, or content work you've done -Resume, if you have one - not required -Why you're interested in the opportunity -Your general availability Experience is a plus, but I'm also open to someone who is relatively new and can demonstrate that they understand these platforms and are willing to learn. If this sounds like a good fit, please reach out and tell me a little about yourself.
