We are looking for an experienced soundproofing/acoustic specialist to come to our photo/video studio tomorrow for an on-site consultation. This is not a basic handyman job. We need someone with real experience diagnosing and reducing sound transfer, vibration, HVAC noise, pipe rattling, and commercial space noise issues. We have two problem areas: HVAC / Pipe Noise Loud humming, buzzing, and pipe rattling coming from a neighboring HVAC unit Noise/vibration transfers through pipes running inside our studio Interferes with video/audio recording Downstairs Noise Transfer Noise from the unit directly below us Yelling, foosball, speaker/bass vibration, and general sound transfer through the floor We need recommendations for reducing noise at the source and/or soundproofing our space We need someone who can inspect both areas and recommend practical solutions, such as pipe isolation, vibration dampening, acoustic insulation, drywall/soundproofing assemblies, floor/ceiling soundproofing, sealing gaps, or other professional methods.
