Independent narrative feature shooting in NYC is seeking two reliable stand-ins for our lead actors. This is primarily a camera/lighting support position, not an on-camera acting role. Stand-ins will hold actors' marks while the DP and camera/lighting departments set framing, focus and lighting. We're looking for people who are punctual, patient, comfortable taking direction from the camera department, and interested in seeing how a small independent feature operates behind the scenes. Compensation: No monetary compensation. Meals provided, local transportation covered/reimbursed, and IMDb credit provided. Intimacy-content note: This shoot includes a closed-set scene involving simulated sex and performer nudity. Stand-ins will not be asked to disrobe, perform simulated sex, kiss, or participate in intimate choreography. Any stand-in work for this sequence will be fully clothed and limited to ordinary camera/lighting/blocking purposes. Stand-ins may be released from the room once the closed-set portion begins. STAND-IN #1 — MALE LEAD / DIRECTOR Needed: Sept. 12–17 Preference for someone available all six shoot days, although partial availability will be considered.
