Talent Management company is seeking an intern who can commence work immediately. This internship is ideal for those looking to pursue a career in the entertainment industry as a talent manager, agent, producer, writer, casting director, actor, or publicist. Talent-related duties: Best suited for front-facing, high-energy interns who will assist with the submission of actor clients, interact with clients and casting directors via phone, and all other clerical duties associated with actor submissions. (Majority of work) Screenplay-related duties: Duties include reading and evaluating screenplays, script coverage, development notes, script breakdowns, and production business plans. (Lesser amount of work) Office hours are from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Optional Work Hours: Time requirement is two full days each week, duration is 4 months of assistance. Ideal hours are 10 to 6 two days per week, but 9 am to 5 pm or 11 am to 7 pm can be accommodated. Alternatively, if the above 2-day/8-hour schedule doesn't work for you, the internship could be broken up into 4 hours a day, 4 days a week, Monday through Friday, somewhere between the hours of 9 am and 7 pm. Interns will be expected to sign non-compete, non-disclosure paperwork. Although not ideal, we are open to discussing remote work once training is complete. Other notes: No experience necessary--you will be trained. Dress code and the working environment are casual. Having a car is helpful because the work location is off of the public transportation grid. A car is NOT required for any business related needs, but you will likely need wheels to get here. Interview process: First interview is in our rented office building in Santa Monica. If offered, second interview is in Calabasas. If you get the position, work takes place in Calabasas, CA 91302. Position is available ASAP. This is a non-paid internship--please only apply if you can afford to work a non-paid gig. College credit is available to students who can arrange for it through their schools. While we will consider everyone, the ideal candidate is a student who can arrange to do this internship for college credit. If interested, please email your resume and contact info (including name, phone, and email) as well as the days/hours you can work and when you can begin. Thanks for applying.
