Hey everyone, Putting together a live lineup for an LA based indie art rock/ electronic project and looking for creative, dependable musicians to build out the live show and start playing local gigs. The Sound: Rhythmic and atmospheric art rock blending analog warmth with electronic sounds. Think The Flaming Lips, MGMT, Spoon, Radiohead, LCD Soundsystem. Where the Project Stands: • Album #1 was completed early this year: https://teradactyl.bandcamp.com/album/shadow-times • Album #2 is currently in production with a veteran indie producer (credits with Flaming Lips, MGMT, Spoon). • Material is ready, the focus right now is rehearsing a tight, dynamic live set and hitting LA venues. Who I'm Looking For: • Keys / Synthesizers / Electronics: Comfortable with synth textures, pads, leads, and triggering/ sample integration. • Drums / Percussion: Groove-focused, solid with playing to a click/backing elements, blending live punch with electronic feel. • Bass / Guitar: Solid pocket player who loves driving lines, fuzz/effects, and locking with the rhythm section (synth-bass capability is a plus). • Horns / Multi-Instrumentalists / Wildcards: Open to brass, sax, or auxiliary players who want to add extra color and energy to the live arrangements. Expectations & Compensation: Rehearsals in Central/East LA. Looking for good communicators with easygoing attitudes who take the craft seriously. Live show payouts are split equally.
