Hi, I am looking to make a faith based film with a Catholic theme; That is an apparition of the Virgin Mary. Yes a Catholic theme but it is really for all people no matter what country, culture, religion etc. It is a true story that is taking place in the Former Yugoslavia, now Bosnia Herzegovina. It has been non-stop everyday until this very day starting on June 24th 1981. Mary the mother of Jesus appeared to 6 visionaries, 4 girls and 2 boys starting in 1981. They were 15 & 16 years old with one of the boys being 10 yrs. Three of the visionaries are still seeing her everyday. The other 3 see her once a year. For the first few weeks Mary appeared on a hillside that the visionaries along with the crowds would climb each day to have their apparition and discuss whatever Mary wanted to tell them. The visionaries now range in age from 55 to 61. Mary has been asking us to return to God or suffer the consequences which will be substantial if humanity won't listen and we continue with our wicked lifestyles. I've been there 8 times so I know it's real. I want to do a dramatic film on the first few days of the apparitions in this tiny hamlet of Medjugorje with about 400 poor farming families. In a matter of days the town would have 30,000 or more very curious visitors each day trampling the crops upsetting the peace and quiet and attracting the communist government who thought it was some sort of a revolution. Medjugorje became known in short order throughout the country and then throughout Europe and then around the world. Now 100 million people or more have been there. They come mostly searching for miracles which were very prevalent in the early days. Like Fatima and Lourdes Medjugorje has had 1000's of healings and conversions. They still happen, just less frequent. Let me know if you're interested and if you can get a crew together. We have a script and could be ready to start filming in a matter of days. There is much more to the story and I will share it all. Medjugorje will be a household word someday. Hopefully we can help promote that. Thanks Pat
