This is not your typical photography lens! This Canon EX 125mm F:3.5 lens (lens element, to be exact) was made in 1969 with a Leica screw 39mm thread. This lens actually required the mated EX Canon camera Body divergent elements to focus to infinity. However, placed on a 9" of m39 tubes (preferably, one adjustable) you may be able to focus this weird lens element to fill the full 35mm frame! The lens element has NO diaphragm so you will be shooting wide open at f:3.5. The results are so impressionistic, it will blow your mind! See the sample photo which was not corrected or enhanced! Note: the photo showing this lens attached to the Panasonic G1 micro 4/3 camera will not focus to infinity as is. It will work as a macro lens. Note: You can also place it on a Leica screw mount bellows unit front adapter of the visoflex, or a simple 39mm thread tube; it will focus through to all Lumix G series or Olympus E-P series or Sony Nex 3 or 5 and 7 and all APS-C; A6xxx series (just need a LTM to Nex adapter) Sony full frame A7r 1, 2, 3 and A99 and A9. all digital camera Micro 4/3rd's MFT's with a mounted m39 to m4/3 adapter, or LTM to m4/3 adapter. So why bother with this lens and adaptation? Because this lens does something no modern lens can do. It gives you a soft, glowing, psychedelic and wild BOKEH, photos like you have never seen before. The lens has NO focus mount or F:stops, so its wide open, shallow depth of field gives Amazing results! Some photos look as if they were shot with Diana F film camera. Note: Included is just the lens, no camera or adapter is included.
