I'm looking for a videographer or aspiring filmmaker to help document a mission focused on men's mental health, resilience, and community. This starts locally on the Westside of LA (Playa del Rey / Marina del Rey) a few days per week and will evolve into a full cross-country documentary project next year, where you would be part of the support crew traveling and living in an RV. What you'll be filming (initially): - Sunrise or sunset shoots for 1 -2 hours once per week – Talking-to-camera moments about the mission and journey – B-roll of training, walking, running, daily life, family moments – Podcast clips, candid moments, and social content – Story-driven footage (not just "pretty shots") - Coming with me to Podcast studio - BHS of family and normal life The bigger picture: Next year, this turns into a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to document a cross-country walk/run for men's mental health awareness. This role would be embedded with the team — traveling, filming daily life, real conversations, exhaustion, breakthroughs, and impact. Who this is for: – Film student, recent grad, or self-taught videographer – Comfortable filming real, vulnerable moments – Interested in documentary, storytelling, and purpose-driven work – Flexible schedule and open to travel – Reliable, grounded, and easy to be around (you'll be living with the crew) Details: – Internship / stipend based (to start) – A few days per week locally to begin – Travel + housing + Food covered during the documentary journey – Credit on the documentary and content – Opportunity to grow into a long-term role This is not a typical gig. It's real, raw, and meaningful. If you care about mental health, storytelling, and being part of something bigger than yourself, I'd love to hear from you. Please reply with: – A short intro about you – Any video work or samples (if available) – Why this project resonates with you Location: Playa del Rey / Marina del Rey - until April 2026
