I'm looking for a skilled videographer to film long-form walking interviews for a podcast. The style is immersive and conversational—the goal is to make the viewer feel like they're walking alongside us, not watching from a distance. What you'll be doing * Film 1–2 hour walk-and-talk interviews outdoors. * Walk backwards while operating a gimbal, keeping the subject framed smoothly and naturally. * Capture high-quality raw footage with stable movement and clean composition. * Monitor exposure, focus, and audio throughout the shoot. * Anticipate issues like changing light, pedestrians, traffic, or background distractions, and adjust without interrupting the conversation. * Work closely with me to adapt to changing environments and maintain a seamless filming experience. What I'm looking for * Experience shooting interviews, documentaries, podcasts, or other run-and-gun content. * Confident operating a gimbal while walking for extended periods. * Strong understanding of camera settings, focus, stabilization, and audio. * Excellent attention to framing, headroom, focus, horizon level, and continuity. * Able to maintain a smooth walking pace while keeping stable, natural-looking shots. * Professional, punctual, communicative, and reliable. * Physically able to walk backwards for 1–2 hours while carrying camera equipment. * Knows when to stay unobtrusive so the conversation remains natural while still capturing compelling footage. Bonus if you have * Experience filming long-form podcasts or YouTube interviews. * Your own gimbal and production gear (please list your equipment). Deliverables * Organized raw footage delivered promptly after the shoot. * Files properly named and organized for editing. Compensation Please include your rate in the application. To apply Please send: * Links to relevant work, especially walk-and-talk interviews or documentary-style footage. Please include examples of stabilized moving shots, not just static interviews. * The camera and gear you use. * Your location. * Your rate * A short note about your experience filming this type of content. I'm looking for someone who cares about storytelling through camera movement and can make the audience feel like they're part of the conversation—not just watching it.
