GLIDE is currently recruiting for a Communications Associate. The Communications Associate will support the successful execution of GLIDE's marketing and communications strategy. This person will design dynamic content across digital and print media, produce collateral for fundraising campaigns and events, and will support the Marketing and Communications Director to develop and tell GLIDE's story.

You get to create and design, possibly in partnership with outside resources, a new www.glide.org website. Create and update website and digital platform content. Edit and implement pages in GLIDE's website and blog through content creation and web optimization. Update online media sites. Manage and design HTML for GLIDE email communications and campaign/message scheduling. Produce insightful communications materials through, 1) conducting direct interviews with clients and team members, 2) coordinating and producing photography or video, and 3) soliciting/editing copy for online (web/email/social) or print publication. Provide production/in-house graphic expertise through the creation, design and implementation of marketing/print/web collateral. Utilize knowledge and understanding of layout design, color, typography, and work within brand guidelines on broad range of projects. Work as project team member in the creation, design and development of GLIDE newsletters, blog posts, email marketing campaigns, direct mail campaigns, fund development campaigns, and special events collateral for both internal and external communications.

What you will bring to GLIDE
Hands-on experience with website design, email marketing and design, social media and online advertising trends as well as community and grassroots marketing.
Knowledge of site usability, layout and design principles.
Proficient use of MS suite PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suit. Proficient use of HTML, CSS production, and website production including WordPress.
Advanced communication skills. Knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of oral, written, visual, and audial communications to create the most effective materials.
Post production jobs experience a plus.
Ability to provide creative and editorial support, experience with video production, technology and CMSs would blow us away!
