ACTOR WANTED – TALL MALE HORROR CHARACTER PERFORMER (6FT+) – $150 **Location:** Westwood, Los Angeles (90024) **Date:** Thursday, October 29, 2026 **Performance Duration:** 1 hour (evening appearance) **Compensation:** $150 flat rate We're looking for a tall, physically expressive **male actor to portray a mysterious and terrifying RABBIT character** at the sold-out red carpet premiere of an independent horror feature film! **YOU WILL BE WEARING THE ACTUAL, ORIGINAL RABBIT MASK USED IN THE FEATURE FILM! NOT A REPLICA!** This is a unique opportunity to step into the role of one of the film's signature horror characters, interact with guests, pose for professional photographs, and become part of an exciting Hollywood-style film premiere. Think creepy, mysterious, intimidating, and unforgettable! **IMPORTANT: Applicants MUST own a well-fitted suit that they can wear for the performance. Bonus points for a bolo tie, unusual boots, or distinctive accessories that add to the character's unsettling appearance!** IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING: **THE ORIGINAL SCREEN-USED RABBIT MASK WILL BE PROVIDED BY PRODUCTION.** This is NOT a standard Halloween mask. The character wears a **large, full-coverage, tight-fitting mask that completely encloses the head and extends down around the neck and shoulders.** While the mask is designed to allow breathing, it is snug, restrictive, and can feel extremely claustrophobic, particularly for someone who has never worn this type of costume before. **WE ARE ONLY SEEKING PERFORMERS WITH PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WEARING FULL-HEAD MASKS, MASCOT HEADS, CREATURE COSTUMES, OR SIMILAR ENCLOSED CHARACTER HEADPIECES.** - You must be comfortable having your entire head enclosed. - You must have previous experience performing in comparable masks or costumes. - You must be comfortable with the restricted sensation and potentially reduced peripheral visibility. - You must be able to remain calm and perform physically while wearing the mask. - You must be comfortable communicating if you need a break or need the mask removed. **IF YOU ARE CLAUSTROPHOBIC, UNCOMFORTABLE WEARING ENCLOSED MASKS, OR HAVE NEVER WORN A SIMILAR FULL-COVERAGE HEADPIECE BEFORE, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY.** Performer safety is a priority. We will conduct a fitting before the performance, and the mask can be removed for breaks or immediately if the performer experiences discomfort. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: - **Red Carpet Appearance:** Portraying our signature Rabbit character as guests, filmmakers, actors, and industry professionals arrive. - **Character Performance:** Staying in character, using body language, deliberate movements, and physical acting to create a genuinely unsettling presence. - **Guest Interactions:** Posing for photographs, interacting with attendees, and creating memorable moments without breaking character. - **Photo & Video Opportunities:** Working alongside professional photographers, videographers, and our YouTube livestream crew. - **Atmosphere & Entertainment:** Helping create an immersive horror experience that makes guests feel like they've stepped directly into a nightmare. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: - **Male actor OVER 6 feet tall (required).** The Taller The Better! - Must be 18 years or older. - **MUST own a fitted suit that fits properly and can be worn to the event.** - **BONUS POINTS for a bolo tie, unusual boots, vintage-style clothing, or distinctive accessories that create a unique, unsettling silhouette.** - **Previous experience wearing full-head masks, creature costumes, or enclosed mascot-style headpieces is REQUIRED.** - Strong physical presence and expressive body language. - Experience with acting, physical theater, haunted attractions, or immersive character performance preferred. - Ability to portray an intimidating, mysterious character without speaking. - Comfortable interacting with crowds and being photographed or filmed. - Professional, punctual, creative, and reliable. COSTUME & PERFORMANCE: **WE PROVIDE THE ORIGINAL SCREEN-USED RABBIT MASK FROM THE FILM. YOU PROVIDE YOUR OWN WELL-FITTED SUIT.** We're looking for a tall, imposing figure with a strange, almost vintage appearance. Think sharply dressed, mysterious, and deeply unsettling. A bolo tie, unusual boots, or other distinctive wardrobe details are highly encouraged! This is a non-speaking, physically driven performance. We're looking for someone who understands that sometimes the most terrifying performance comes from simply standing still, slowly turning toward someone, or making deliberate, unexpected movements. The character should feel genuinely unsettling, mysterious, and cinematic. Guest interactions must remain professional, controlled, and non-contact. PAY: **$150 flat rate for a one-hour character appearance.** Exact performance time, costume fitting, and preparation details will be coordinated before the event. Confirmation you're available Thursday evening, October 29. **IMPORTANT: We will be selecting our performer based on height, physical presence, costume experience, and overall wardrobe appearance.
