Dazzle is a live interactive comedy show where the audience plays along and shapes what happens in real time. We're looking for a sharp, tech-savvy Camera Operator / PA to run our man-on-the-street segments around NYC (Washington Square Park energy), setting up our live streams, managing backup video, and pulling in energetic pedestrians to keep the show moving. Pay: $40/hour (Guaranteed 2-hour minimum per shoot = $80 minimum) Schedule: 4-5 productions/week. Flexible times between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Locations: Meet hosts daily at Washington Square, Union Square, Central Park, or Wall Street. What You'll Do: - Set up a simple 2-tripod rig (iPhone for live streaming + your camera for backup video). - Connect wireless mics and assist rotating hosts in going live. - While the host is live, invite pedestrians and queue up players so the show never pauses. - Store & bring a small box with props (custom boards, minor prizes) to each shoot. - Safeguard the tripods, cameras, and prize pot on set. Requirements: - Located in NYC (easy travel to Manhattan parks). - Own an iPhone and a decent camera (DSLR, DJI Osmo, Mirrorless, or second high-end phone) for backup video. - Secure space at home to store a medium-sized prop box. - Punctual, reliable, and alert.
