Seeking an upbeat creative partner for an unconventional LA nightlife indie series. Looking for a charismatic co-host who can turn ordinary interactions into entertaining moments. Includes ongoing professional photography, personal brand content creation, and hands-on creative collaboration with an experienced photographer/editor. Who you are: Engaging personality with the ability to make a bit out of anything, especially if you keep up the bit for too long. Even if you're not an established actor or entertainer, if you think you're funny let's hear it. Conversationally intuitive, empathetic, and capable of using comedic timing to its fullest. This project is based heavily on a friendly personality and consistent social situations, so if you usually describe yourself as "not a people person" or "antisocial," this project will feel like a splinter. If anyone has called you "the life of the party," or "social butterfly," this is for you! Requirements: Personality and chemistry matter far more than any specific look or background. Phone call conversation necessary, no headshots required. Ideally seeking age range 25-35 due to the intended audience and lifestyle fit, but flexible. Be prepared to be in DTLA in the beginning before locations change to other areas and neighborhoods. Initial commitment would be one filming day per week for a 4-week trial period. Who I am: Photographer & editor of 8yrs, mainly working in e-commerce & freelancing, with extensive hospitality experience (relevant to project). Prior experience in film & model casting. Currently working a few jobs at once. Mid 20s with no personal social media, seeking co-host to be the face of this series. What You Receive: Ongoing professional photography, headshots, and short-form content creation tailored to your personal brand. Brand strategy and creative direction of your social media available. This begins as a creative collaboration - if the project develops into a profitable venture, compensation structures will evolve accordingly. We all eat together. Everyone involved benefits as it grows, and all collaborators will receive proper creative credit for their participation. The Project Itself: While this does depend on personality and character, there will still be general outlines, shotlists, scripts, and scheduled bits before filming. Improv and ideas from the co-host are greatly appreciated and creative control is shared. Expect meetings on creative direction before filming. General premise of series: anonymous host (as part of storytelling premise) & engaging co-host (face of series) create on-the-nose but good-hearted social media reviews of LA nightlife experiences with the format and storytelling gradually shifting its tone throughout the series. While no drinking is necessary, ability to exist in bar environments and nightlife is. Episodes will involve visiting different LA bars and nightlife spaces while creating entertaining commentary (no other guests or staff are filmed without permission). The anonymous host concept is part of the storytelling format, with additional layers of the premise revealed throughout the series. Expect a mix of nightlife exploration, conversations with strangers, comedic bits, unexpected situations, and discovering what makes LA's venues unique.
