With a reach of 500,000+ dancers each year, we take pride in inspiring young performers and delivering unforgettable live experiences. ⸻ Position: Emcee No prior hosting or audio experience? No problem — paid training is provided after you receive your official offer letter. Being a KAR Emcee is about bringing positive energy, organization, and charisma to every show. We're looking for adaptable, enthusiastic team players who love to travel, connect with kids and families, and keep our events fun and running smoothly! If you're energetic, organized, and love being the voice behind the mic — this role is for you! ⸻ Responsibilities • Load-in and breakdown of event setup • Set up and test all audio equipment; perform microphone sound checks • Announce performances and engage dancers and audiences with enthusiasm • Control audio board levels for microphones, iPads, and laptops • Maintain the event schedule and keep transitions seamless • Promote tour merchandise during show breaks • Communicate effectively with team members via radio • Travel required (typically Thursday PM – Monday AM) ⸻ Qualifications • Strong organizational and communication skills • Works well under pressure and can troubleshoot equipment issues • Dedicated team player with a positive attitude • Touring or broadcasting experience is a plus, but not required • Able to sit for long periods (average 30–60 hours per weekend) • Must be available to travel Thursday–Monday • Must have a valid government-issued ID or Passport ⸻ Compensation DOE: $200 – $1000 per event ⏱️ Hourly: $16 – $18 per hour Season starts: February 2026 ⸻ Ready to Apply?
