From mentorship by industry professionals to direct access to executives, producers, and distributors, Film Faster 48 is where creativity meets career. Winners can earn cash prizes, film credits, and even a role on a fully financed feature film with Providence Film Group. About Us: The festival is produced by Providence Film Group (PFG), led by our CEO — a respected industry veteran with projects alongside New Republic Pictures and other major companies. We produce film, tv, and events that create opportunities for up-and-coming talent. Roles & Responsibilities may include: • Helping with festival organization and daily operations • Assist with filmmaker registrations • Working closely with filmmakers, professionals, and industry executives • Making calls and coordinating logistics • Assisting with social media, marketing, and promotions • Shooting UGC (user-generated content) and short clips • Supporting film editing and production task • Handling audience, guest, and sponsor needs during the festival • Sales and outreach to boost engagement • Attend events and interact directly with filmmakers, sponsors, and press • Support social media campaigns and engage with forums like Reddit and others • Help with film editing, screenings, and festival programming • Work on sponsorship outreach and support brand activations • Assist with college outreach and student engagement What We're Looking For: • Eager, hungry, and respectful individuals • Full of ideas, self-starters, and strong-willed team players • Punctual, reliable, and committed to the entire festival run • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments • Great with people, can take initiative, and work well under pressure • Salesmanship and creativity are a huge plus • Excellent communication skills and ability • Mature mindset, collaborative spirit • Car is a plus (some tasks may involve transportation support) Why Volunteer? • Earn a role or credit on a films and projects through your work • Access to professionals, executives, and industry insiders • Work directly with filmmakers — incredible networking • Possible paid roles/positions in future festivals we produce • Hands-on experience in production, editing, marketing, and events • Learn how sponsorship and media partnerships really work • Boost your resume and portfolio with real industry credentials If you're ready to jump in, bring your energy, and contribute to an unforgettable event, we want to hear from you!
