IT Wizard Wanted | Santa Monica + Remote | $35–$50/hour Technology is supposed to simplify life. Mine occasionally forms a committee and votes against me. I'm looking for a sharp, resourceful IT wizard for hands-on help at a beachfront home near Shutters in Santa Monica, plus remote support when practical. A few hours to start, with ongoing work and opportunities to support our businesses for someone who does excellent work. THE WORK • Get Apple devices, iCloud, Google Workspace, and contacts working together cleanly. • Troubleshoot email delivery, spam filters, DNS, and account settings. • Make Wi-Fi, Sonos, TVs, remotes, cameras, and smart-home systems behave. • Organize cables, check backups, and fix the small technical problems that eat ridiculous amounts of time. AI SAVVY TAKES PRIORITY WHO YOU ARE You know how to diagnose a problem—not just restart everything and hope. You're resourceful, quick to catch on, and able to turn a short explanation into a working solution. You're comfortable with AI tools and online research, and you know when to use them—and when to keep someone's private information out of them. I value reliability, discretion, clear communication, and fixes that stay fixed. Leave a simple explanation of what changed so we don't solve the same mystery next Tuesday. You don't need to know every system listed. If you're strong with Sonos or several of these areas and resourceful about learning the rest, please apply. Specific experience and good judgment matter more than claiming to know everything.
