In addition, they will: -Lead Script read-throughs with the show team. - Requires advance preparation including thorough understanding of show/av plan -Call the live show while following the script (cameras, graphics, lighting, and sound) -Direct 2-3 cameras -Develop rapport with production team and inspire excellence -Rally team for rehearsals and shows -Check that all departments are ready to go for rehearsals and shows -Coordinate with assistant director that graphics are ready for broadcast -Coordinate audio director has all cues -Coordinate lighting director has all lights programmed -Coordinate stage managers have printed all script updates -Coordinate that cameras and inputs come through on the Tricaster/projectors and cameras are white balanced and operational -Manage showtimes -Rehearse, rehearse, rehearse -Quality doesn't come because someone has checked your work... it comes because you check your work. You rehearse everything. You leave nothing to chance. Schedule: Freelance on project by project basis. We're looking for people who can join us for multiple, but not necessarily all shows. Availability: Looking to invite qualified individuals to apprentice with our Live Event Director at an event to learn to serve some of our other events in the future. Experience: 2+ Years in industry Compensation: $400-650/per show day based on client and experience. *Lead Director role available with increased compensation and opportunities for more experienced and committed applicants. Location: Must be local to Atlanta, GA for our current needs. Travel: We produce events all over the country.
