Regular Substack writer focused on protecting American democracy is looking for a well-trained/highly skilled podcast producer (or someone who has successfully created their own podcast) to help guide launch of a new show. Ideally, the right person will know something about video/digital editing, how to build an audience and perhaps have some graphic arts skills. I'll pay the right person both in terms of helping with start-up and also offer the opportunity for either regular part-time or a recurrent role in the show with the chance to be a 50 percent revenue partner in proceeds. (This would be 90 percent remote work with the occasional exception of field reporting or photography opportunities). If possible, when you respond, I'd love to see either a resume or a brief summary of your experience in the realm of either journalism, digital media, podcast work and/or website marketing. This is the chance for someone who is skilled (and those who've graduated college or taken journalism programs WILL be considered) to sink your teeth into something meaningful and hopefully difference-making. When we connect, I'll tell you more about my ideas which include both news coverage as well as incorporating comic skits into the program.
