Please fully read gig ad if interested. CargoBikeInsanity llc created a solar powered community information cargobike that offers free wi-fi and free phone charging stations for the community. The outside of the cargobikes also have billboard banners with community information on them like: Domestic violence info, ICE information, don't subway surf, missing persons, food bank locations, help lines, mental health info, don't litter, don't do drugs, community maps, crime prevention, wanted person and police see something. They also have a tv display screen to run city agency commercials on them. While people charge their phone, they are watching these city agency information ads. Our problem is dozens of people use the cargo bike every day, but we aren't there when they are using it to ask them questions about how it's helping them and the community. So we need people who would talk about the cargobike being displayed for public use. So you would need a cell phone to be considered. Phone can be in your hand while talking or it can be connected to the public phone charger. Then you'll just answer 1-5 questions about your experience and it would take 1-5 minutes. Example of questions we would ask at interview: What do you think of this community information cargobike? Is there any community information on this bike that interests you? Do you think more of these bikes would help more communities? What do you think of this idea? Are you using the wi-fi? This is a video of the cargobike in action in Williamsburg Brooklyn: https://youtu.be/1g8x2HFufvQ?si=wR7O3HKSi4CBetKB Videos would be used for social media and sent to local government (city council, state senators, mayor's office and state assembly). The goal is to make more of these cargobikes to give back to communities who need valuable information and help during these tough times. The cargobike can also give out fliers to the community. For example, a cargobike can be customized with banners for a community with high domestic violence (The fliers in the flier box would have more information on domestic violence). An area with high teen subway surfing would have fliers for "don't subway surf", teenagers can read these messages while they charge their phone and use the free wifi. Compensation/Payment for your time: Funds are limited for this project, volunteers would be preferred, but we do want to compensate people for their time. We also partnered with a local restaurant to offer a gift certificate for whoever does the interview. We will pay $20 cash (to cover transportation and time) and offer a $15 gift certificate to be used at any Super Action Burger restaurant for your video testimony. That's a total of $35 for less than an hour of your time. You can use the gift certificate the day of or anytime in the future (it expires at the end of the year). Super Action Burger is a sci-fi bar, comic book and free retro video game themed family restaurant. They offer 1000s of retro games, food, wings, liquor drinks, margaritas, burgers and amazing desserts. The unlimited video game usage is included with the gift certificate. This is what the restaurant looks like and their foods/drinks: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DV7BpB1sqJC/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== Super Action Burger is located at 292 Graham Ave. Brooklyn ny. They are open Wed-Sun 4pm-1am. Reservations aren't required to enter restaurant. The interview times will most likely be between 2:30pm-3:45pm, starting this Sunday and during next week. We need at least 10-15 people to interview. Super Action Burger has an amazing happy hour that starts at 4pm (the gift certificate would have it's most value for their 2 for 1 drink specials). If you can't make it, but want to contribute to this positive cause for communities in NYC, you can always donate at our go fund page. FAQ: Can I invite more people with me? Yes, just let us know how many people, when you email. Each person would receive $20 and a $15 gift certificate. How long would it take? It should take 1-10 minutes to ask a few questions, while you stand infront of the cargobike. Then you'll be paid and given the gift certificate when you're done. We will give you a set window time to show up and then you can leave afterwards. It could take longer, if people don't show up on time or if other people are infront of you when you arrive. I would say a maximum of an hour of your time. Do I need to bring anything? Yes, your cell phone and ID. A basic release waiver would need to be signed stating we can use your image for our social media and be used to be sent to local government agencies. If I'm under 18, can I come? Yes, but you'll need to come with your guardian over 18 and they would need to sign the release waiver the day of. If you're under 18 can't come by yourself. ID would be required to verify guardian's name with yours. Can my kids be interviewed also? Yes, for kids under 18 the parent would need to sign a release waiver from the legal guardian. Adults would also need to sign a simple release waiver, stating you are allowing your image to be used on social media and sent to local government agencies. Where will the interview be located at? It would be near the L train Grand St train stop in east Williamsburg. When you respond, please let us know your age. Please answer these questions also: Tell me a little about yourself? What do you think of the community information cargobike in the link above? What questions would you ask about the cargobike? Would you be okay talking about the community outreach information banners around the bike? What do you think of this idea? Are you free around that time in the afternoon? Would you be okay showing up in the evening between 7pm-10pm on a Monday or Tuesday? or 2:30pm-3:45pm Wed, Thurs or friday? Feel free to ask any questions. Thank you for your time.
