Hi, We're looking for a reliable VFX artist to help complete final VFX work on an indie sci-fi/action feature film. This is post-production work for a nearly completed feature. The work includes a mix of practical cleanup, object/shadow removal, screen/drone-style VFX, shot polish, and fixes based on existing notes. Controlled compositing using tools like Adobe After Effects and AI-assisted workflows are okay as long as all AI tools and assets are commercially licensed. Important: We need someone who communicates clearly, works from a shared shot list, and checks in at least once per week. Please don't apply unless you can provide regular updates, show progress before moving too far ahead, and complete notes/fixes before jumping to new shots. The ideal person should be comfortable with: Camera shadow / crew shadow removal Screen inserts and sci-fi interface-style work Must be good doing convincing blood splatter fx Drone POV / surveillance-style visuals Object removal and cleanup Matching existing footage and camera movement Exporting clean final renders and project/source files Working from Google Docs / frame references / shot notes We are looking for someone who can start quickly and deliver on an agreed timeline. Before hiring, we'll ask for either a relevant reel and small test shot so we can confirm style, workflow, and communication. Project terms: Flat fee + Associate Producer credit. Payment will be tied to approved milestones and accepted deliverables. Weekly check-ins are required. Missed check-ins, missed deadlines without prior communication, or repeated incomplete deliveries may result in termination and reassignment of the work.
