Brooklyn Film Camera is looking for a web designer to help rebuild our e-commerce site on Shopify. We're a small analog photography shop in Williamsburg with a loyal following and a growing online audience. This is a contract project with potential for more ongoing work down the line. You'll be designing and building a clean, fast, and beautiful Shopify site that feels true to our brand. You should be comfortable working in Shopify, ideally using Replo or a similar visual builder, and know the basics of conversion rate optimization and SEO. What you'll do: – Build and design new pages in Shopify that are mobile-friendly, fast, and on-brand – Use Replo (or similar) to create modular, flexible layouts – Help improve site navigation, conversion rate, and SEO structure – Work directly with other staff on layout, copy, and creative direction What we're looking for: – Experience designing or building Shopify websites – Familiarity with Replo or another page builder like Shogun or GemPages – Working knowledge of CRO and basic on-page SEO – Strong sense of design, layout, and usability – Reliable communication and follow-through Pay: $25/hr, part-time contract Location: Preference for someone local to Brooklyn but will consider remote for the right candidate To apply, please include: – A short note introducing yourself – Your portfolio or examples of Shopify sites you've worked on – Answers to the following: What's one Shopify site you've designed or built that you're proud of?
